Helping families affected by cancer with basic life necessities…

So they can focus on battling the disease.

Race with Grace is the flagship fundraiser of the Mary Grace Memorial Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in the spring of 2005 to memorialize Mary Grace, a wife and mother of three children who lost her battle with breast cancer. The mission of the foundation is to provide those who have been affected by cancer with basic life necessities so they can focus on battling the disease. Financial assistance is available to cancer patients or their immediate family members who reside in the Ohio counties of Medina, Stark, and Wayne.

About Mary Grace

On February 1, 2003, Mary Grace, wife and mother of 3 children, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Although she fought valiantly, it was not meant to be, and Mary passed away on January 8, 2005. The Mary Grace Memorial Foundation was founded in the spring of 2005 to memorialize Mary and to raise money to help other families battling cancer. It is our hope that we can help others like Mary fight as courageously as she did.

“I cannot thank the Mary Grace Foundation enough for that moment of relief they gave us, and that stress-free environment in which I was able to continue my treatments, because we really feared losing our home. It’s really amazing what one organization can do to help someone.”
