Medina High School Girl's Basketball Team Donates $405 to MGMF

A sincere "thank you" goes out to the Medina High School Girl's Varsity Basketball Team for selecting the Mary Grace Memorial Foundation as the charity of choice for their 2013 Hoops for the Cure Game. While the girls battled St. Vincent-St. Mary on the court, they also raised $405 to help battling cancer.

Last year's event was the fourth annual event where the girls designated a cancer-related charity during one of their games, to receive a portion of ticket sales. Not only did they raise money from ticket sales, but they also baked goods to raise funs. It's efforts like this that help make the MGMF such a success in fulfilling our mission of providing basic necessities to those dealing with the life-intrusive nature of cancer.
